Join the Mapvember Challenge

I love maps. They’re my First Move when building an encounter or 5 Room Dungeon.

It lets you think things through as you push the pixels or graphite around.

I like to tell myself a story as I draw. Here’s the entrance and it leaves much to be desired, making them easy pickings for the PCs. And this is where they dump their garbage, filthy creatures. And so on. This helps with ye ol’ memory and for thinking through the place-logic.

You draw one map a day, based on a short prompt. Then share in the Discord #mapvember2025 channel.

I had purchased and used the old Java version. But I just couldn’t get into a groove with it. I found the interface frustrating in several spots.
